Last updated: April 7, 2026Agreement to TermsBy accessing or using Rootcap, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
Description of ServiceRootcap is a personal health and life data dashboard that aggregates your data from connected sources (Google Health Connect, Google Calendar, manual entries) and makes it available to your AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
User AccountsWhen you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including any MCP access tokens you generate, and for all activities that occur under your account.
Your DataYou retain all rights to any data you submit, sync, or create through the service. By using Rootcap, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This includes generating text embeddings for semantic search functionality.You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
Connected ServicesRootcap connects to third-party services (Google Health Connect, Google Calendar) on your behalf using OAuth. You authorize these connections and can revoke them at any time. We access only the data types and scopes you approve during the OAuth consent flow.
MCP AccessRootcap provides an MCP endpoint that allows AI assistants to query your data using tokens you generate. You are responsible for:
• Keeping your MCP tokens secure• Revoking tokens you no longer use• Understanding that any AI assistant configured with your token can read your data
Prohibited UsesYou may not use Rootcap to:
• Violate any laws or regulations• Store data belonging to other people without their consent• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts• Interfere with or disrupt the service• Use the service for any commercial or resale purpose
Intellectual PropertyThe service and its original content, features, and functionality are the property of Rootcap and its licensors. Your personal data remains yours.
TerminationWe may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.
Limitation of LiabilityRootcap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. The service is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
Changes to TermsWe reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the application. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
